Flipped policy writers
There has been a lot of discussion of letting students become the centre of learning and lead activities and get freedom and for the teacher to move aside and change role from class lecturer to a guide or enabler. Tasks and projects are common on may courses to work towards this while institutions that offer a Montessori slant event let students choose what they do for the lesson then help each student on their chosen task at their speed.
This is all interesting but what about the course planning stage? How could or should students contribute or even lead during this stage, especially when deciding on the AI policy. Boston university has already handed over the keys to one class to draft their own policy.
