AI quizzes

• Creating class quizzes takes time and it can be quite complicated. Now AI has been added to some online quiz sites like the one below so teachers can dedicate more time to planning, marking, answering emails, attending….

My students might recognize it as I have been experimenting with it this term. Here are some comments:

1. It creates a good range of quiz questions but they can be buggy and some are often too simple.

2. The questions often go beyond what we do in class BUT it is nice to add a few to challenge higher level students to stretch their knowledge.

3. It needs more suitable university quizzes. The leaderboard is a bit too basic and when students finish…well…they finish.

4. It might be better done in groups of 3 as a contest between groups rather than just alone.
